desktopGeneration

I collaborated with desktopGeneration, an experimental art and design collective, to develop a series of wallpapers and advertisements that reflect their forward-thinking creative vision. My approach combined abstract neo-Y2K aesthetics with contemporary digital design principles to produce a cohesive and modern visual identity. To realize this direction, I integrated refined typography with conceptual imagery, using layered textures and gradients to create depth and visual movement. The wallpapers functioned as immersive digital environments, while the advertisements translated the collective’s conceptual themes into clear, high-impact visuals optimized for cross-platform use. This work required balancing conceptual expression with clarity, ensuring that the designs remained engaging, accessible, and consistent across both large-format digital wallpapers and promotional materials. Impact: I contributed to the development of a unified visual language that strengthened desktopGeneration’s brand presence and positioned the collective as a distinctive voice within experimental digital design. Challenge: Transforming an abstract, future-oriented creative direction into structured, cohesive design solutions that maintained consistency across immersive and promotional formats.
